10 Epic Grand Teton National Park Elopement Shots

Grand Teton National Park offers some of the most jaw dropping views! Which lends itself to some of the most epic photographs for your elopement. These are just 10 amazing Grand Teton National Park Elopement Shots. But there is so much to love about the area!

What I love about Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park for elopements is how close everything is, there are so many cute shops, restaurants, hikes, rivers, lakes, mountain views, and activities so conveniently located in one spot. This means the options for how you want your day to be are wide open! You can backpack into the backcountry for a full weekend adventure, or have a more relaxed experience with easily accessible locations. Many couples stay a week or longer to enjoy all the activities and really experience this national treasure! And the best part is that all the views offer stunning backdrops for your ceremony and photos.

Here are some of my favorite Grand Teton National Park Elopement shots that I have captured.

1. Backcountry Glacier Lake

This was a fall adventure elopement I had in the Tetons. And although every photo was jaw dropping, this one especially inspires a sense of wanderlust. I love how soft the lighting was, allowing for the colors of the water and trees to stand out, but not distract from the couple. 2. Sunrise First Look

With wedding photography, lighting is everything! And depending on the time of day, you will get totally different lighting. This first look photo was part of a sunrise session. Which gave my couple a beautiful was glow and soft light. Some of my favorite spots for Grand Teton National Park elopement shots look best in the sunrise light. 3. Lake Celebration

What’s more romantic that walking into a lake in your wedding gear?! This shot is one of my favorites for how it depicts adventure and lighthearted elopements. One of my favorite things as a Grand Teton National Park elopement photographer is getting to adventure with my couples while capturing epic shots like this! 4. First Dance Beneath the Tetons

There are so many reasons that this wedding photo ended up in my top 10 Grand Teton National Park elopement shots. The contrast between the golden fall field and blue-grey mountains is outstanding! 5. Airstream Life on the Road

As a Grand Teton elopement photographer I love adding as much of your personality as I can to your wedding photos. This bride and groom travelled across the country in their airstream to elope in the Grand Tetons. So we had to include their vehicle in a few photos! Whether it’s the old truck you had your first kiss in, or a camper you decided to travel the country together in. We can create epic photos and tell your story with it!

6. Sunset River Walk

This is one of those Grand Teton National Park elopement shots that I fall in love with every time I look at it. I had my couple walk through the shallow river bed as the sun set behind the mountains. This created a very soft glow over the landscape, defining the distance in the photo. 7. Rainy Day Elopement

So often we try to avoid the rain on wedding days. But this photo may have you rethinking! A lot of the time the weather itself can lend to the “epicness” of your wedding day. There is just something wild and exciting about getting caught in the rain. Pair that with an elopement, and your photos will definitely reflect the adventure! 8. Golden Fields In Late Fall

This fall wedding gives so many dreamy and whimsical vibes! Which is part of the reason I love their photos so much. With the fall lighting and golden fields, you find yourself with many Grand Teton National Park elopement shots like this one. Very light and airy, with a sense of warmth.

9. Lakeside Vows

Another reason to love Grand Teton National Park are the many lakes that you will find scattered throughout the park. Adding a water feature gives more interest and depth to any photo. 10. Historic Barns

How could I not include this beauty in my top 10 Grand Teton National Park elopement shots?! Everything about this photo is a dream. The haze over the Tetons in the distance, the historic barns and of course this wonderful couple. The Tetons are filled with history, which I love to share with my couples as we tour the park together! Giving you a variety of locations with historic buildings and barns.
