We will start by getting to know each other! Contact me using the contact form here on my site. I'll find out all the details of what you're dreaming of, discussing the date(s) you have in mind and the moments you want captured. I then will send you a brochure with a few package options that outline the coverage and everything that is included. Once you pick the package that best fits the day you are planning, a contract and invoice will be sent for you to secure your date.

I know how daunting it can be to plan your big day, and the trust that you put in your photographer to capture everything. I also understand that you have dreams, goals and a life beyond the big day you are planning. It is very important to make sure you are investing in the right professionals for your once-in-a-lifetime experience. I can promise you that you will be grateful you chose Jocilyn Bennett Photography to capture and preserve these most special moments of your romance.

If you book with me, I will help guide you through the planning process with my email guides and a consultation phone call. I will share locations and timeline suggestions as well as point you to some of the best vendors in the area.  Of course, the photos you receive will be second-to-none, and will be available digitally and in print format.

Your wedding photos are the only thing from your big day that will increase in value over time. Preserving these sacred moments will be the best gift you can give yourself and the ones you love.
Invest in making your romance last forever.

All pricing is based on time and calculated with an hourly rate, including an estimate on post-processing editing time. Hourly rate is determined by experience, education, and expenses.

If you need to cancel, this must be done at least four weeks prior to the date of the event and all payments minus the deposit may be refundable. If cancellation occurs within four weeks of the event, or the client fails to show on the date of the event, all payments previously made will be non-refundable.

If you need to reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible. An additional $150 rescheduling fee will apply. My schedule fills up quickly, and there is no guarantee that I can accomodate a request to reschedule, but I'll do my best.

Cancellation/Rescheduling

A deposit or full payment must be made to secure your date. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least four weeks before your session/wedding date. Those due dates will be included in your contract. Payment is requested to be made using my online invoicing system, however I do accept Paypal, Venmo, or cash.

A lot! Basically I will give you everything that turns out well. Each one of my packages varies in how many images are delivered because the more time we spend together the more images we will create. I don’t like to give a cutoff number because I don’t believe in withholding any photos from you to try and upsell like some photographers do. These are your memories, I do my best to capture them fully and deliver them all to you.

How many images do you deliver?

Some of the most beautiful images are created on rainy days, but sometimes conditions are just too gnarly to smile through. We will be in contact as your date comes closer and throughout the day as conditions change. We will do our best to shoot that day but if we need to we can reschedule. However, some things can't be rescheduled, like a wedding day. I am always prepared with waterproof equipment and umbrellas to shoot your special day in any conditions
we are blessed with.

Inclement weather

I always do my best to get your photos edited and finished as soon as possible, within 3-4 weeks. Let me know if you have a specific timeline request (photos for wedding invitation, reception, etc.) and I'll do my best to accommodate. I'll try to get you a sneak peak (around 10 images) of your photos right after, to share with your family and friends.

Turnaround time

Wear what you feel most comfortable and confident in! When you feel good you look good. If you want those photos of you and your love running and dancing, wear shoes that won't land you in the emergency room halfway through your shoot...haha. It's true that colors can affect the look and feel of your photos. Look at sample photos online and in magazines to determine what you like and don't like, then base your outfit off of that. Don't stress, if you have further questions or concerns I am always happy to give suggestions or help you chose the perfect outfits!

What should I wear?

16 years! I took all the photography classes I could in high school and my time working on the yearbook and capturing memories with my friends is what started my passion for the art. I studied photography and graphic design at Utah State University including a study abroad in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Austria and Ireland. I have worked in the field full time since 2013. Every year I attend workshops, conferences, hire mentors and find any resources to keep learning and fuel my creativity so I can deliver the best to my clients.
