Doing Things Just For The Photos

I appreciate a stunning backdrop and perfect photo opt as much as any other photographer. However, you should never do things just for the photos. It feels in-genuine. Your day should be focused on YOU and this fun milestone in your lives! You don’t want to celebrate with just a pretty photo session. Plan special moments and spend the day doing what you want to do on your wedding day!

Not Hiring Professionals Who Know The Area

Experience gifts vendors insider knowledge that you can’t get anywhere else. You will want a Utah elopement photographer who knows the best locations, a florist who knows what flowers you can have in the national park, and someone who really knows the area and can help you plan the needed details! Not only will this enable you to make your dream elopement come true, but it will also save you so much stress and Googling.

Planning A Tight Timeline

You don’t want to feel rushed or stressed on your elopement day. You want to explore, take in the beauty around you and embrace one of the biggest days of your life! Plan extra time for getting ready, traveling between locations, and buffer time. This way you can enjoy your day and even stop to watch the sunset! This is a tip I will never stop sharing because it makes the biggest difference in your experience.

Allowing Phones At Your Ceremony

As a Utah elopement photographer, I am about to lay down a hard truth. It doesn’t look good in photos when you are reading vows from your phone or have guests holding phones to record during your ceremony. Trust your photographer and videographer to capture it all for you! And kindly ask your guests to put away their phones during these special moments.
