Summer Wild Flowers Engagement Session

One of the best parts of summer has to be how the outdoors really come to life. That is exactly what I was able to enjoy in this Summer Wild Flowers Engagement Session. Bre and Carson road tripped north from their home in Salt Lake City to the stunning Tony Grove Lake area up Logan Canyon. During the whole month of July the wild flowers are incredible at the elevation of 8,048 ft. And I can’t wait to share our experience with you!

Bre & Carson

I met Bre at a photography workshop this summer. We became fast friends, connecting over the fact that we both had fond memories of working as waitresses. In addition, we both loved studying art in college. We expressed our gratitude for our college degrees and the variety of classes we got to take that allowed us to experiment with different mediums. Ultimately, we both gravitated toward photography.

Carson and Bre met while working at the Cheesecake Factory in Salt Lake City. As a result of spending time together, the two fell madly in love. Then moved into the cutest little apartment and started planning a life together! They were a really wonderful couple to work with as they were so natural in front of the camera.

Summer Wild Flowers Engagement Session

I began our photo session by asking them questions to get to know them as a couple. I asked them to list three things that they love about the other person. This is one of my favorites to ask! Carson told me that he loved how Bre brings home stray kittens and has become the cutest cat lady he has ever met. Bre expressed how she loves Carson’s sweet gestures and how he is always a good listener. I love hearing these stories because it helps me quickly get to know my clients on a deeper level right off the bat. That way we get the real emotion driven images that spark memories.

I love to serving my clients by giving them images that contain real emotion and memories. When Bre saw these photos she told me that I had captured their relationship perfectly. I LOVE hearing that because I treasure the photos like this of me and my husband so much! I believe everyone should have photos that remind them of the reasons that made them fall in love!

We also have a lot of fun on shoots. I always bring my iPod & bluetooth speaker to make it a party. That way you get not only the intimate moments captured, we will also get the ones that make you giggle and smile from ear to ear! You will receive a variety of photos that depict your relationship as a whole! Because every relationship has many beautiful sides and I want you to remember it all!
