Jackson Hole Wedding Photographer FAQs

When investing in any wedding vendor, you should have questions. But when you invest in your Jackson Hole Wedding Photographer, you put a lot of trust into a single person to capture all your most precious moments. So you should have even more questions! Here are some of my frequently asked questions answered.

Turnaround Time

I always do my best to get your photos edited and finished as soon as possible. You can expect sneak peeks (around 10 images) right after, to share with your family and friends. The rest of your gallery typically is delivered within 4-6 weeks. If you have a specific timeline request (photos for wedding invitation, reception, etc.) let me know! I’ll do my best to accommodate.

Inclement Weather

Some of the most beautiful images are created on rainy days, but sometimes conditions are just too gnarly to smile through. We will be in contact as your date comes closer and throughout the day as conditions change. We will do our best to shoot that day, and for the most part we will be able to! But if we need to, we can reschedule.

With that said, some things can’t be rescheduled, like a wedding day. I am always prepared with waterproof equipment and umbrellas to shoot your special day in any conditions we are blessed with.

How Many Images Do You Deliver?

Unlike other Jackson Hole wedding photographers, I will give you everything that turns out well. Each one of my packages varies in how many images are delivered because the more time we spend together the more images we will create! I don’t like giving a cutoff number because I don’t believe in withholding photos from you to try and upsell as some photographers do. These are your memories, I do my best to capture them fully and deliver them all to you. Because you deserve to get every memory you made in a photo.

Payment

A deposit or full payment must be made to secure your date. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least four weeks before your session/wedding date. Don’t worry. Those due dates will be included in your contract. Payment is requested using my online invoicing system; however, I do accept Paypal, Venmo, or cash.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible! An additional $150 rescheduling fee will apply. My schedule fills up quickly, and there is no guarantee I can accommodate a request to reschedule, but I’ll do my best. And if I can’t, I will point you towards other options in the area.

If you need to cancel, you must do so at least four weeks before the event’s date, and all payments minus the deposit may be refundable. If cancellation occurs within four weeks of the event, or the client fails to show up on the event’s date, all payments previously made will be non-refundable.

How Long Have You Been A Jackson Hole Wedding Photographer?

I have been a Jackson Hole photographer for over 16 years! I took all the photography classes I could in high school and my time working on the yearbook. Capturing memories with my friends is what started my passion for the art. In addition, I studied photography and graphic design at Utah State University including a study abroad in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Austria and Ireland. I have worked in the field full time since 2013. Every year I attend workshops, conferences, hire mentors and find any resources to keep learning and fuel my creativity so I can deliver the best to my clients.
