Amangani Wedding Venues | Anna & James

I have been photographing elopements as a Jackson Hole photographer for years, and one of my recent favorites is when I have couples book an Amangani wedding! This Grand Teton venue is as majestic as the landscape and gives you the best views of the mountains. All while allowing you close access to the National Park for epic elopement photos. Today I want to share why I love Amangani, as well as a bit about Anna and James recent elopement there!

Anna & James

Let’s first jump into Anna and James! They originally met through James’ sister, but then went their separate ways for five years before being reunited and ready to fall in love. Which is exactly what they did! They are old souls with the sweetest love.

For their Amangani wedding details were important to Anna. So we opted the sprinkle sentimental pieces throughout their day. At the start of the day they enjoyed a first look moment on the grounds of Amangani resort. Here Anna showed James the special picture locket with his mother’s photo that was tied to her bouquet. They later gathered with close friends and family for their ceremony. Anna wanted to include their sweet dog Maude, so they received special permits/permissions to have her at Snake River Turnout in Grand Teton National Park. After the ceremony we ventured around the park to capture them with the beautiful Teton landscape. And finally, they celebrated with an intimate dinner party at the Amangani resort. The perfect day just for Anna and James!
