Document it!
This is a big moment in your lives and you will love to have it captured. Trust me when I say, that you will regret not having photos from this special occasion! The raw emotions, the surprise, the celebration. All of it is once in a life time! you deserve to have it captured so you can tell your love story with generations to come!

Reach out to a photographer as early as possible because the good ones book up fast!
Communication
If you have certain expectations, communicate those to your partner! Know that subtle hints can be missed. Either tell them plainly what you like or don’t like about proposal. Or keep your expectations open to just enjoy however your moment unfolds. And if you are the one planning the proposal, then be sure to reach out to your photographer and let them know the expectations as well!
