As a Jackson Hole wedding photographer I photograph a lot of elopements. Wedding days with just the bride and groom together, for the most intimate wedding in the mountains. Many times couples just want their ceremony photographed with a few bridal portraits afterwards. However, some of the most beautiful getting ready photos I have captured have been those that have been between just the bride and groom as they get ready for their elopement.
Why Have Getting Ready Photos When Eloping?
Although you are planning an intimate elopement, you still deserve to document your big day! Your wedding is a once in a life time moment, no matter how many guests you invite. You will still have that giddy excitement before your ceremony. The tender moments when you see your person for the first time in their wedding attire. And all the other little moments in between.
Individual Bride & Groom Photos
As you get ready on your own, you will have moments of serenity and excitement. You will get your hair and makeup done, layout all of your jewelry and shoes, step into your wedding dress, and really embrace the moment. And I will be their to capture it all! As a Jackson Hole wedding photographer I will capture the details of your florals and wedding attire, as well as the serene and special moments as you get ready. These images will help tell your wedding day story, so you will be able to better recall how you felt the morning of your wedding.
Bride & Groom Getting Ready Photos
Some couples opt to get ready together the morning of their Jackson Hole elopement. This is a beautiful opportunity for you to get some quiet quality time together. Helping your groom with his tie, or having your dress buttoned up by your fiance. By getting ready together you will be able to show your love by serving each other in simple tasks. These are some of my favorite nontraditional elopement day moments, as they enable a sense of tenderness and compassion.
