Your engagement is one of the most exciting and crazy times of your entire life! There is so much to do with planning the timeline of your wedding day, finding the perfect dress and making sure everyone you love will be there. With all that it is nice to take a step back and breathe. Just to enjoy each other and the outdoors. That is exactly what this dreamy Logan Canyon Engagement Session was for Taylor and Shannon.

This couple purchased an engagement session with me through a local charity auction and I was so thrilled about it! Taylor and Shannon were so fun to work with. The two were so lovey and romantic it made my heart burst with joy! I love seeing couples interact with each other. As I observed them, I found natural poses to try with other couples. I recall when I had Shannon sit next to Taylor in “THIS” specific pose she said. “Oh, this is so comfortable!” And that’s exactly what I’m going for. I want my clients to feel comfortable so they can easily be themselves.
Logan Canyon
This dreamy Logan Canyon Engagement Session was scheduled for a cloudy spring day and as we arrived to our meeting place, the rain picked up. We decided to take a drive up the canyon to see if the weather was better, but I was thinking we would just reschedule for a warmer day. To our surprise, the weather was better up the canyon and we ended up getting a beautiful full hour session in before the rain reached us.
This is one of my favorite places in Logan Canyon. It’s a location right off the main highway but the trail to get to this meadow is tucked away behind the trees. With a short hike up the hillside you find this beautiful sagebrush meadow with a backdrop of rocky mountain peaks. It feels like a little hidden secret because every time I go there it’s completely deserted, but others definitely know about it because there is always evidence of camping and other visitation.
Shannon and Taylor are so cute! They just naturally moved and interacted with such love and infatuation. I only had to give them a little direction for their Logan Canyon Engagement Session before I was able to capture five to ten amazing images. As I sat down to edit the photos I was just gitty with delight. Every photo was magic!
