How To Be A Photographer That Has A Great Client Experience

The simplest mindset shifts can make the biggest difference in your art as a photographer. As a Jackson Hole photographer I pride myself in giving a great client experience and continually striving to improve. The best way I have found to do this is by changing my mindset from capturing photos to creating memories. In my sessions, I prioritize creating sentimental moments and capturing unforgettable memories by doing these three things.

Guide

When planning an elopement with my couples I always act as a guide. I am here to provide a starting point, give ideas and support their dream! Guiding my couples through the planning process and giving them ideas that can add more meaningful touches throughout their day. Helping inspire and create those meaningful moments always gives my couples a more personalized elopement.

Extra Time = A Great Client Experience

In a way, I act as a time keeper for my couples. And with that I try to give them more time than they may think they need. I help my couples plan extra time in their day so they aren’t stressed and can enjoy their elopement! Extra time can even allow us to explore these beautiful locations and create memories along the way.

    Photography Experience

As a photographer, a great client experience revolves around not only the photos, but the time spent taking them. I always give my couples simple prompts to bring their attention to each other and the present moment. In the beginning you may need to write a list and really think prompts through before hand, but after years of photographing it has become natural for me to invite my couples to interact and love on each other!
